I grew up collecting Thums Up bottle caps — hunting for codes, earning rewards. It felt fair because effort gave me a chance.
Decades later, giveaways had lost that feeling. Winners felt random. Losers felt cheated. Even winners weren’t always sure it was real.
We first tried a marketplace where everyone played to win, but the legal grey around gaming bills made us step back.
That’s when the real idea clicked: what if play wasn’t about buying a product — it was about earning a brand’s attention?
